In the “San Pio” a base of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes meets a consistent balance of Sangiovese, so as to give life to a red left to rest for at least 18 months in barrique and tonneau. A wine that comes out of the groove of territorial traditions, to tell how many are the ways of making wine and above all how important is the union of passion and skills to get to obtain important results. And in this case the target was completely hit, with a Rosso di Toscana that leaves no one indifferent.
Intense ruby red in the glass. Rich and articulated the olfactory bouquet, opened by memories of blackberries, sour cherries and blueberry jam, then followed by tertiaries of cloves and cinnamon, with vegetal nuances and balsamic hints to surround the whole. The taste is consistent, well integrated into the tannic texture, fresh and savory, of excellent length.
To be paired with meat-based second courses, it is excellent with roast leg of kid.
