The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico by Fazi Battaglia comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Classic area of the Castelli di Jesi, located in the altitudes closest to sea level, with southern exposure, on purely sandy and silt-rich soils. After a careful selection of the best bunches, we proceed to a soft pressing of the whole grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature between 14-16 ° C; the wine ages on its noble lees until January.
The Verdicchio Classico by Fazi Battaglia has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is young in the notes of apple and pear, flowery with references to broom, and balsamic, with brushstrokes of anise. The mouth is fresh and savory, with light almond notes on the finish.
Good with ricotta and spinach ravioli seasoned in a classic way with butter and sage.
